Announcer - SPRING 2024
Ken Thompson
On Friday and Saturday our event will be accompanied by Ken Thomson,
who will be our DJ and announcer. We met Ken at a large IGP trial and noticed his wonderful craft.
We are thrilled, that he accepted our invitation to be part of our event
About Ken:
Ken is a retired airline pilot after 20 years with American Airlines.
He spent many years as an announcer for livestock shows and dog sport events,
along with being an auctioneer at several livestock sales and fundraisers.
Ken is a former radio disc jockey at 3 different stations in the top 40,
classic rock, and Christian genres.
Ken’s wife Shirley, is actively involved in Dog Sport,
having obtained IGP titles with her Doberman,
and is currently in training with her Belgian Tervuren.
Ken himself is a proud owner of a GSD (his first dog),
who who has become his best buddy.
